Both Men's & Women's Pairs miss medals at Delhi

Tony Tinworth, Tuesday, 12 October 2010

Both the Men's & Women's pairs missed out on medals in yesterday's finals.

The men were defeated by Malaysia in the Bronze medal round and South Africa won Gold defeating England who won Silver.

The Women's Pairs also missed out on a medal, going down to England in the semi-final by 1 shot & a drawn set, and then defeated by Wales in the Bronze medal round. England went on to win Gold, Malaysia Silver.

This means the Springboks have won 3 of the 4 Gold medals awarded so far.

Sadly, Leif Selby is having a hard time in the Men's Singles, having lost 3 of his 6 games and now standing 5th on the table. On the other hand Kelsey Cottrell has won all 6 of her matches so far.
