Vale Peter McAdam (Mosman BC)

Well-known Mosman and Zone 9 identity Peter McAdam passed away earlier this week after a battle with cancer.

Peter was recognised and admired by many for his tireless work at Mosman BC. He served on the Board for over 5 years, and convened both the Club's annual Carnival and the popular Jack Harkness 6s & 7s Tournament each year. He was a passionate volunteer throughout his bowling life, and was honoured as being a Zone 9 Volunteer of the Year nominee.

Peter also envisaged and launched the inaugural Centenarians' Trophy, a competition for Sydney Metropolitan Bowling Clubs that are over 100 years old. The 4th Centenarians' Trophy will be contested this year.

Peter leaves his wife Jenanne, daughters Jane and Anna and a host of grandchildren.

His funeral will be held at 12 noon on Tuesday 20th February at St.Clements Anglican Church, Mosman.
