It's been a hard slog for all concerned, from BNSW and the State Match Committee through to the Zones and then to the Clubs, but we have finally arrived on the cusp of the 2020 Zone 9 Pennant Season.

This ground-breaking season sees 76 sides from our Clubs - 6 sides in each of Grades 2 and 3; 12 sides in Grade 4; 16 sides in Grade 5 and 18 sides in each of Grades 6 and 7, begin their campaigns tomorrow all striving for that ultimate achievement, a State Pennant Flag.

Zone 9 has two sides, Belrose & Mona Vale, competing in the Metro Grade 1 competition which starts a few weeks after the local Pennant competition.

For the first time in the history of BNSW competitions, women will enjoy an equal footing playing alongside men in our Pennant season, and it has been very pleasing to see the number of Clubs that have actively embraced this change and selected women in their Pennant sides.

Good luck to all Clubs!!
